September: What To Wear Now

September: What To Wear Now

It’s got noticeably cooler in the last week so it’s now time to talk about how to dress for September. As a new season arrives it’s about wearing multi-functional pieces that you can mix ‘n’ match with items that are already in your wardrobe. It’s not about buying an item just because it’s ‘on trend’, it needs to be ultra-wearable too. Autumn means chunky knits and investing in classic cuts and practical shades that can be worn all the way through to next Spring. I really enjoy adding new textures and layers working them in with my investment pieces. Here’s my guide to Autumn and what i’ll be wearing now.

The Must-Have Coat For Autumn

The Must-Have Coat For Autumn

Looking for a coat that’ll last season after season? You need to invest in a camel coat. Why? It’s a classic colour that’s wearable all year round; chic and minimal, mid-length or floor-length it’s an easy way to pull together a workwear look. I certainly don’t have the budget to splurge out on a MaxMara ‘Madame’ Cashmere blend number so I turned to the high street where they’ve got outerwear bang on!  I’ve pulled out some of my favourite high street pieces, showing you how i’d style them.

The Knitwear Colour To Wear This Autumn

The Knitwear Colour To Wear This Autumn

Knitwear is an Autumn essential, but it’s easy to choose to darker hues as they’re considered safer. This season i’ve made a point of adding more colour to the sea of black in my wardrobe and have fallen in love with the colour blush. It has a soft warmth to it and can easily be teamed with my wardrobe staples like a white silk blouse, khaki structured trousers and a grey cashmere scarf when it gets a little chiller. Blush will instantly freshen up my look, becoming a cosy addition to my AW17 wardrobe. In this post i’ve picked out a few of my favourite’s from this season that will last for years to come…
