How I Get Radiant Skin

How I Get Radiant Skin

Lacklustre skin has been something that I’ve struggled with on and off for as long as I can remember. This is in part due to having dry skin but also not having the understanding of what kind of ingredients boost my skin to make it radiant.

February has been a pretty dismal month in London, the rain is relentless and the wind has been brutal (gosh I sound British!) The point is that this weather wreaks havoc on my skin; chapped lips, dryness, and skin dehydration – blurgh! Luckily, through my full-time job and reading up a lot about product ingredients I have found three skincare products that have salvaged my skin. Hurrah! Here are the products that I’ve been relying on this Winter.

Best Beauty Buys For Under £20

Best Beauty Buys For Under £20

I’ve been obsessed with skincare and make up for as long as I can remember. After road testing an array of products over the years I know that i’ve definitely paid over the odds for beauty, (yes, I have bought items just because the bottle looked pretty – shameful I know). These brands may be all glam, but they don’t stand up to their claims. Knowing what I know now, looking and feeling good doesn’t have to stretch your wallet. Great beauty buys are available to everyone, sometimes they can just be trickier to find. In this post i’ve omitted products which I have harped on about over and over, such as the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. No one wants to know for the millionth time how much I love it! The products in this post are those which represent great value for money, are effective and do exactly what they claim. Enjoy!

Establishing a solid daily routine is the key to maintaining a healthy complexion. Whilst many of us take our make up off at night and pop on a moisturiser before bed, we also don’t invest enough time in our skin before we head out for the day. If you read my Sensitive Skincare Saviours post in the Summer you’ll know that i’ve experienced many highs and lows trying to find products that don’t irritate my skin. Beauty Sleep & How To Get It

Beauty Sleep & How To Get It

From working in the beauty industry i’ve learnt so much about how sleep effects the skin. As we age, even one night of insufficient sleep shows on the skin. For me this comes in many forms from, redness, dark circles and dull skin. During the deepest stage of sleep, the tissue in your skin repairs. Without enough deep sleep, this repair process slows down resulting in premature ageing. The term “beauty sleep” is certainly more than a figure of speech!
