Paris…again!

Paris…again!

I’m back! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but with a mixture of wedding planning, getting married, my honeymoon and family matters I had to take some time out. So, with that said, I’m back writing again and want to share with you a trip I went on in the late Summer to Hotel Thérèse in Paris. It was bliss and the perfect getaway for a newly married young woman!

Hotel Thérèse is nestled away in a quiet spot a few streets away from Palais Royal. When I look for somewhere to stay one of the top things I look for is location and Hotel Thérèse delivers exactly that. It’s situated on an incredibly Parisian street surrounded by beautiful French architecture and small patisseries.

2019: INSTAGRAM GUIDE TO PARIS

2019: INSTAGRAM GUIDE TO PARIS

I recently headed to Paris for an exciting 48-hour city break. You may remember that I went for a whirlwind day trip last February where Zoe and I shot a lot of content in about nine hours; it was a fantastic day but we definitely came away utterly exhausted. This year was slightly different though because I’d be invited along for a complimentary weekend stay by Hotel Eiffel Blomet. The first few months of this year have been incredibly busy so a weekend away to recharge was just what I needed.

As you lovely lot enjoyed my post from my last trip so much I thought I’d put together part two of my Paris Instagram Guide showing you where I stayed and all the new locations I shot in.

City Break: Copenhagen

City Break: Copenhagen

My Copenhagen city break was everything that I had hoped for. Steeped in history, this gorgeous Nordic city overlooking the Øresund strait is filled with palaces, castles and high towers. It’s often described as a fairy tale and it was just that! Whilst I only got to spend a short 48 hours there, the city was compact enough to see and do everything that I wanted to, including Edvard Eriksen’s 20th Century statue of the Little Mermaid. So, here is an edit of my favourite places to stay, visit, eat and shop…enjoy!

I’m forever banging on about the benefits of wearing an SPF. Since i’ve worked for a beauty brand i’ve learnt so much about how the sun affects the skin, even when it’s not sunny. It’s apparent that many people feel that they don’t need to wear a suncream because it’s dark and dismal in England most of the time – wrong! Wearing an SPF on a daily basis will help to prevent facial brown spots and skin pigmentation whatever the weather. It’ll also reduce the appearance of ‘spider’ veins, blotchiness and will slow down premature ageing – yes, wrinkles! So, here are some of my favourite SPF moisturisers that can be worn everyday, all day which are also ideal for sensitive skin.

Monochrome Playsuits

Monochrome Playsuits

The playsuit. In the summer I live in these, I must have at least 20 in my wardrobe right now. Why do I love them so much you ask? They’re lightweight and really comfortable. In the morning when I can’t be bothered to style an entire outfit it’s easier to throw one of these on instead. The great thing is that there are so many variations, structured cuts, floaty numbers, bold prints and block colours. For me they’re a super wardrobe staple for day to night dressing. As I love monochrome I thought i’d focus on my 5 favourite pieces from this season.
