Sandro Summer Sale Edit

Sandro is a brand that i’ve been obsessed with for years! Its feminine aesthetic is high-end meets high-street. The Sandro look exudes Parisian elegance and for me fits well into my ‘city girl’ life. What I love is that its low key yet luxe, bringing a subtle sophistication to my wardrobe. They’re currently in their Summer Sale (up to 50% off) so I thought i’d share some of my sale highlights with you!

Monochrome Playsuits

Monochrome Playsuits

The playsuit. In the summer I live in these, I must have at least 20 in my wardrobe right now. Why do I love them so much you ask? They’re lightweight and really comfortable. In the morning when I can’t be bothered to style an entire outfit it’s easier to throw one of these on instead. The great thing is that there are so many variations, structured cuts, floaty numbers, bold prints and block colours. For me they’re a super wardrobe staple for day to night dressing. As I love monochrome I thought i’d focus on my 5 favourite pieces from this season.

9 Black Dresses To Wear This Summer

9 Black Dresses To Wear This Summer

Wearing black in the summer probably seems ludicrous to most, filling us with horror thinking about the sweaty commute and unairconditioned offices. In fact it’s black that is the best colour to stay cool in as it absorbs the heat from the sun as well as our bodies (a little bit of science for you!). For those that know me well, my wardrobe is 75% black so this news was music to my ears! As I live and work in London I thought i’d put together a post that would work for city dressing. The key for me is to stay away from heavy woven fabrics and stick to lightweight pieces that you can wear with strappy sandals or your favourite chunky heels. I’ve pulled out 9 black dresses that you can wear out and about in the day, at work and for dinner in the evening.
