If you follow me on Instagram, first of all, thank you for your support. You may have seen me talk about an app called liketoknow.it quite frequently over the last year. So, what is liketoknow.it? It’s a platform which allows you to instantly shop the looks you like from influencers. Ever seen anything on your Instagram feed and want to know where it’s from? Well, here’s your solution!View Post
Back in 2017 when I started to take my blog more seriously I came across Santina’s account and instantly fell in love. It was aspirational, curated and beautiful; I was desperate to meet the woman behind @huesofwhite. We agreed to meet for brunch earlier this year and it was amazing. You know when you click with someone immediately and you just know you’re going to be part of each others lives? That’s what I felt when we met. I was not only in awe of her fashion and blog but the fact she was the mother of two young children too. I still don’t know how she juggles it all!
When I started this blogging series, I knew Santina would be perfect for this post talking all about creating a beautiful Instagram profile. So, earlier this Summer we caught up and I got the low down on her top tips, where she finds her inspiration and the future of huesofwhite.com.View Post
Welcome to my new blog series. I decided to launch it because I often get asked questions about my social media channels and my blog; my tips, tricks and advice. I thought I’d combine my advice with someone else who is absolutely smashing it. Each post will include invaluable advice from another blogger.
So, to kick off with the first post I thought I’d tackle one of my most frequently asked questions; how do I grow my Instagram account?
I got in touch with blogger and friend @jcjlifestyle who has recently exceeded 10,000 Instagram followers. In the first six months of this year, Jasmine’s following has grown by a staggering 175% so she’s definitely doing something right! Find out how in my latest post…View Post
Instagram was part of my life in late 2012, back then no one I knew really understood what it was never mind how to use it. Little did many know, this photo-sharing app would become the platform it is today and a monetisation channel for bloggers like me.
I needed to find my theme; my aesthetic. I’d admired many accounts over the years, they all looked so cohesive, I’d scroll through my newsfeed and would instantly know that it was from such and such a blogger because of the posts’ visual identity.
A year after starting the blog, a lot of trial and error I finally feel that I’ve got there. Of course, it’s an evolution but I do feel happier that my Instagram feed is where I want it to be.
I get a lot of questions about how I edit my photos so I thought I’d share my favourite apps and the specifics functions that I love about them…View Post
It’s crazy to think that it’ll soon be the first birthday of iambecca.com. It’s a project that I wanted to get off the ground long before it launched; as I’ve said before, the biggest hurdle for me was finding the confidence to put myself out there. Once the blog had launched it was a case of figuring out how to juggle it with a demanding full-time job; definitely something I’d underestimated.
Drawing on my experiences over the last year I’ve come away with a lot of learnings. I’ve put this post together as an updated version of a post I wrote last year – Blogging: What I’ve Learnt This Year. So, if you’re reading this and you’re a part-time blogger my wins and fails may help you in some way or if you’re just perusing this post and want a little insight into what we bloggers do, read on…View Post
