I’ve long been a fan of contemporary Brit brand, Whistles. The design is intelligent, affordable and luxe. Its aesthetic is modern, yet relaxed with an extraordinary attention to detail. Season after season I lust after the smart separates, floaty dresses and timeless accessories they create. Now that we’re coming into AW17 I thought i’d pick out a few of my personal highlights…View Post
I was lucky enough to be invited for a morning blow dry by the lovely ladies of Blo Bar in Chiswick – a one stop destination for all things hair and beauty, my kind of place! The well established salon specialises in delivering the ultimate luxury experience to relax and revive and it certainly did just that. From travelling in New York where blow dry bars are super popular it seems London has got involved too. This spot however is not just a blow dry bar, it’s a little different. Choose from a large menu of waxes, brow and hair treatments, spray tans and luxurious mani, pedi’s to name a few. It really is a west London gem.View Post
Launched in Autumn 2013 by Han Chong, the Central St Martins alumnus has struck a beautiful balance between femininity and edge with his collections over the years. Known for his guipure dresses and lacey separates mixed in with detailed embroidery and sheer overlays, Self Portrait has quickly become one of the most lauded contemporary brands. At an affordable price point his pieces range between £180 and £500. I’ve adored this brand for the last couple of years, quickly collecting some gorgeous pieces in my wardrobe. Here are 4 of my favourite dresses from this season…View Post

I’m forever banging on about the benefits of wearing an SPF. Since i’ve worked for a beauty brand i’ve learnt so much about how the sun affects the skin, even when it’s not sunny. It’s apparent that many people feel that they don’t need to wear a suncream because it’s dark and dismal in England most of the time – wrong! Wearing an SPF on a daily basis will help to prevent facial brown spots and skin pigmentation whatever the weather. It’ll also reduce the appearance of ‘spider’ veins, blotchiness and will slow down premature ageing – yes, wrinkles! So, here are some of my favourite SPF moisturisers that can be worn everyday, all day which are also ideal for sensitive skin.
