Wedding season is now well underway and if you’ve not already, it’s now time to think about the perfect outfit to fit the occasion. I’m excited to be attending a couple this year, but with each celebration begs the question, but what do I wear? Whilst I’m well known for being a dress hoarder; I’d happily buy a new one for each one, it’s important not to splash the cash when I don’t need to. That’s why I’ve pulled together six of my favourite dresses to not only wear to all the weddings you’re attending this year but throughout the Summer too! And what’s more, they’re all under £100.
The styles I’ve chosen fit my wedding guest criteria; colourful, girlie, below the knee and versatile. So, whether you’re planning on heading to a wedding this Summer and want to look on point scan through these as I’m sure they’ll be something that fits the bill…
Styling outfits should be easy, there’s really no point over complicating things. This Summer I have a style formula that I’ll be relying on to see me through the season. It’s quick, it’s simple and most important of all anyone can do it.
Irrespective of your budget it’s the simplest style formula for dressing this Summer. If you’re like me and love the throw on and go vibe then look no further. So, what is this style formula I’m raving on about? Dress + Bag + Shoes = The Perfect Look
Here’s how you can do it too…
It’s no secret that I’m rubbish at walking in heels. My walking is that terrible that even one of my friends likened me to a baby giraffe learning to walk! So, in light of this, it’s safe to say that wearing sky-high heels is a rare occurrence. Now, just because six-inch stilettos are a no-go it doesn’t mean I have to stick to flats all Summer long. Cue the kitten heel fresh in from the New Arrivals section at Wallis. They’re chic, they’re smart and they’re this Summer’s hottest shoe. Here’s why…
This month’s ‘What To Wear Now’ post is all about yellow. It’s in every shop window I look in and I can’t stop buying it! All the fashion reports are saying the same thing, that Gen-Z yellow is the new Millenial pink and I think they’re onto something.
Before I started blogging and having my photograph taken I wasn’t that comfortable in my own skin, I was very set in my ways about the colours I wore; black, black, oh and more black. I was hesitant to try new colours for fear of being judged and being too noticeable. Whilst I still dislike being the centre of attention I have a new found confidence which has also shaped the way I approach my day-to-day style choices. With that in mind, here is why yellow is my focus of the month and why I think you should try it too…
You know I love a bag. Along with shoes, they’re the kind of accessory I’ll invest in. I’m not talking about any old bag, not the kind that’ll last for a mere season but the type that exudes incredible quality; it’s robust, hard-working and above all things, versatile. I must confess though that I usually stick to one colour when it comes to accessories and that’s black. Why? It’s timeless, classic and so adaptable! I guess though it can become quite samey and it’s good to have variation, right?
A few weeks ago the Radley ‘In A Flutter’ bag came into my life and it really is perfection. If you’re in the market for a new bag and you need something that’ll slot right into your Spring/Summer wardrobe let me tell you why this will be your perfect partner.
