So, it seems you lovely readers like my beauty content. In the spirit of its popularity, I thought I’d start a new beauty series rounding up my beauty favourite’s each month, The Beauty Diaries. The products I’ll be talking about are those which I’ve tried over the last month or so, incorporating them into my daily routine. I love them enough that I had to share them with you.
Let’s crack on shall we?
Glowy, radiant skin is something we all want to achieve. That’s where the Chic Chiq Powder Mask comes in. Formulated with Spirulina Algae and Lemongrass this anti-ageing pot of goodness has noticeably boosted my skin over the last few weeks. Packed with powerful Vitamins A and C, it’s hydrating and nourishing leaving me with a fresh and dewy complexion before I head out for the day.
Have you seen me raving about this CC cream over on my Instagram stories? I love it! Madara Organics wasn’t a brand I was familiar with so I was intrigued to try it out.
So, why a CC cream? Well, CC means colour correcting, it’s designed to even out skin imperfections, brighten dullness and hide any redness so I knew it was something I needed. That combined with an SPF has made it’s my go-to cover-up in the mornings. I don’t tend to wear much makeup in the day so the coverage is sufficient that I don’t need to wear a foundation over the top. The texture is silky meaning that it glides on flawlessly.
I’m going to give this a 9/10 because it’s just been amazing! So much thought has gone into the making of the product because it also helps to protect your skin from environmental pollutants AND it hydrates the skin at the same time with Hyaluronic Acid. If you’re a city slicker then this CC cream is for you.
When I read that this product had been named ‘dewy skin in a bottle’ buying it was a no-brainer. Filled with a lot of skin-benefiting ingredients this was my go-to oil morning and night on my recent trip to Italy.
So, what are the ingredients and how do they benefit the skin? First up we have Camomile oil which is a power anti-inflammatory, it helps to reduce the redness in my complexion that crops up every morning like clockwork. There’s also Amazonian Buriti Nut Oil, a nourishing fatty acid that firms and hydrates whilst Rosehip Oil helps to brighten.
This is a lightweight oil so you don’t feel like it’s clogging the skin, it soaks in quickly plumping and nourishing immediately. My latest morning routine has meant that I’ve mixed this in with the Madara CC Cream for an ultra-dewy look.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on my latest piece, I am extremely passionate about beauty, trying new products all the time so writing a monthly instalment just made sense.
