I’d seen this Missguided jumper on Instagram a few months ago, expertly styled by some lovely fashion bloggers. Always one to opt for darker shades I thought i’d step out of my ‘fashion comfort zone’ and buy this colourful beauty. A lover of chunky jumpers, this heavy knit has been worn so much over the last few weeks. Combining a bold pattern and gorgeous pastel colours, this piece has effortlessly slotted into to my casual wardrobe. Find out how I style it for an everyday Winter look…
Layering up in Winter is important. I chose a camisole that has become a staple in my wardrobe, not just in the colder months but all year round. The nude colour means that it’s that magical layering piece that’ll prevent underwear from showing whilst also keeping you warm. I was sold when I discovered it had in-built support!
You must know by now that I live in black skinny jeans, they’re just so versatile. A jean is only as good as its fit and the Topshop Joni jean is really superb. Made from a stretch denim material, this high-rise style is designed to sit comfortably at the waist, ensuring a perfect look from all angles. No wonder I have them in ever colour possible!
My biker boots are the comfiest Winter shoes ever! Part of Jimmy Choo’s 24:7 collection they’re a classic style that every woman should own. Made from black leather, this pair has a sturdy rubber sole that’s practical when it rains in London everyday! The cut of the boot make them perfect for styling with my super skinny jeans and oversized jumper.
Being out and about in London all the time means it’s important to use a bag that’s small enough not to get in the way, yet big enough to house all of your daily essentials (my Canon M10 just about fits in here too). The Universite bag is the perfect cross-body which combines of all these requirements whilst also looking absolutely amazing. You can even remove the strap to make it the perfect evening clutch bag.
Finally, I like to finish off my look with a few accents. Here, I opted for some Davina Combe stacking rings in yellow gold. My favourite is the Chyrophase one in the middle as it perfectly complements the jumper.
I hope you enjoyed the post. You’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of this jumper over the Winter.
