The Knitwear Colour To Wear This Autumn

Knitwear is an Autumn essential, but it’s easy to opt for darker hues as they’re considered safer. This season i’ve made a point of adding more colour to the sea of black in my wardrobe and have fallen in love with the colour blush. It has a soft warmth to it and can easily be teamed with my wardrobe staples like a white silk blouse, khaki structured trousers and a grey cashmere scarf when it gets a little chiller. Blush will instantly freshen up my look, becoming a cosy addition to my AW17 wardrobe. In this post i’ve picked out a few of my favourite’s from this season that will last for years to come…

A chunky knit in a relaxed shape works well with sharp tailored trousers for an easy-to-wear daytime look. The crew neckline of this ASOS jumper makes it an ideal style for autumnal layering, combining warmth with versatility. Take this jumper to evening with a structured jacket and sky high heels.

A long lasting addition to your knitwear collection, this Duffy oversized roll neck jumper is a throw on piece that is perfect for weekend dressing. The detailed ribbing and equally voluminous roll neck make it perfect for putting on over smart separates or pared-back denim. I’m utterly in love with this!

Finally, this Ba&sh flared jumper with openwork detail is a lightweight piece that is a little different. The woollen cashmere frills and crew neckline ensure maximum femininity, whilst the long sleeves and fine material mean it’s a great partner for layering shirts. Perfect with denim, this blush coloured jumper adds a romantic touch to off-duty dressing.

How do you add colour to your Autumn wardrobe, will you opt for blush too?
