You read that right, 5 minutes and with the right products it can be done! I often have morning’s where i’m strapped for time, pressing my snooze button over and over. With a busy, time poor week it’s sometimes hard to look polished in a hurry. Because of this I have a quick and easy make up solution for early morning’s or before I head out for dinner after work, doing my make up at my desk. So, here’s how I do it, no make up tools required!
I’ve recently come across Bobbi Brown’s Instant Full Cover Concealer, two swipes of this and it really does hide my tired morning eyes; not a dark circle in sight. I love that the pigment lasts all day, it’s sweat resistant, water resistant and doesn’t ‘melt’ in humid conditions (the summer tube commute). Serious lifesaver!
My Clinique chubby stick is faff-free so, all I need to do is blend it in with my fingers after application. I carry mine in my handbag for touch-ups during the day or for full coverage in the morning. The texture is creamy so it leaves my skin feeling hydrated for a long-lasting look.
An eyeshadow in a stick applicator is a quick morning solution to make eyes pop. It effortlessly blends into my eyelids to give a velvety matte finish, I use the colour Goddess as it’s neutral, but adds just enough colour. It’s hard to find a product that is crease-proof and lasts all day long, this ticks both boxes. Hurrah!
When I want to add volume to my stubby lashes i’ll opt for the Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Supreme Mascara. The lightweight formula, visibly thickens and lengthens my lashes for day long drama.
Blink Brow Bar’s Cinnamon Spice Eyebrow Gel is a product that enhances, quickly. Being someone who doesn’t have Cara Delevingne-esque brows it fills in the gaps adding shape and definition. The mascara shaped wand is super easy to apply, all I do is brush it in the direction of my hair growth and i’m onto the final make up step in less than 30 seconds.
The Nars Matte Multiple in Siam is a 2-in-1 colour stick for the cheeks and lips. The texture is lightweight and hydrating and adds a subtle hint of colour to my pasty skin, just blend it in with my fingers and i’m all done!
Here’s the finished look…
