My August Whistles Edit

I’ve long been a fan of contemporary Brit brand, Whistles. The design is intelligent, affordable and luxe. Its aesthetic is modern, yet relaxed with an extraordinary attention to detail. Season after season I lust after the smart separates, floaty dresses and timeless accessories they create. Now that we’re coming into AW17 I thought i’d pick out a few of my personal highlights…

Fleur De Lis Print Dress

The dainty print on this bohemian style dress is what drew me to it on the rail. The cold shoulder and lightweight crepe material make it perfect for right now. For me the feminine shape is so easy to wear during the day, all the way through to the evening. I’d team it with strappy sandals and simple gold jewellery if i’m out and about and off to dinner a pair of chunky heels would definitely do the trick to elevate it for evening!

Satin Pleated Skirt

I’ve never been a ‘skirt girl’ but I couldn’t take my eyes off this mustard number, it’s just divine. This season i’ve decided not to live in jeans as much, so this versatile skirt would work in perfectly with the plethora of blue tops and shirts I have in my wardrobe. Always being one to find investment pieces that are suitable for various occasions, this would work well in the office and can be dressed up for the evening with a pair of heels and an elegant blouse.

Apple Print Dress

For days when I don’t fancy making an effort, this apple print shirt is a great way to lift a simple denim look. It’s a slim-fit cut so it’ll flatter the figure and the button-down fastening makes it smart for the office. Style it with a boyfriend jeans or even a leather skirt for an easy daytime look.

Emmalie Frill Jumpsuit

Finally, we have this gorgeous frill jumpsuit which I absolutely need in my wardrobe. The cut is feminine and chic with the added detail of a contemporary cold shoulder. Pair this sharp jumpsuit with a block heel, a small clutch and simple accessories for after work cocktails.
