Zara has been a favourite of mine for many years. It’s a solid choice for those in search of seasonal trend lead pieces without breaking the bank. Here are 7 pieces that i’m currently lusting after…
A trench coat is a year round investment piece that should be in everybody’s wardrobe. I adore this dusty pink take on the coat with the contrasting black belt that ties around the waist for subtle femininity. I’m seriously debating ordering this online, i’ll let you know if I do!
I live in jeans and I probably have every cut going with the exception of the flare. The point is that this blouse will go with every cut and wash going and during warmer months (if they decide to turn up this year) will go perfectly with a pair of shorts. The small frill detail on the shoulders is so pretty and the billowed sleeve is on trend without being too fussy.
The Printed Trouser
Prints are everywhere this season, i’ve decided to jump on the bandwagon and have incorporated a few pieces into the sea of black that is my wardrobe. These pyjama style pants are a great transitional piece that will jazz up a subdued look in a second. They’re just dreamy, oh and the fact they have an elasticated waist is just a bonus!
The Khaki Dress
If you’ve read my post about how to dress for the transitional season then you’ll know that I love Khaki, it works with everything. This shirt dress with an asymmetric hemline is a super desk to dinner piece. Wear it in the day with a pair of simple flats and a tailored jacket then dress it up of an evening by accessorising the look with gold jewellery.
The Gingham Skirt
Gingham seems to be around every corner. This statement skirt has turned high street hero in the last couple of days appearing all over Instagram and getting written about by the likes of Marie Claire and Grazia. Whilst i’m yet to purchase anything in Gingham, the maxi frill hem has really caught my eye, I mean look how incredible @blaireadibee looks in it!
I did end up buying the skirt and it’s marvellous! I’ve styled it with my Chloe Susanna boots as i’m not feeling brave enough to wear sandals just yet for two reasons, 1) it’s far too cold 2) I’m in desperate need of a pedicure!
The Slip-On Shoe
These printed slip-on loafers will work now with a skinny jean or tailored spring trousers and through the Summer with a loose-fitting dress.
The Statement Earring
A tropical coloured pair of earrings that are a feast for the eyes. Add a little fun to your outfit with these statement tassels.
